BILLFISH
Cabo San Lucas is known as the “Marlin Capital of the World," and is best known for two types of Billfish: Marlin and Sailfish. These giant billfish can reach a length of 11 feet and weigh up to 2000 lbs. Their spectacular speed and massive size make them an Weekend Hooker's dream catch.
The beautiful blue waters of the Baja Peninsula are home to more marlins than anywhere else on the globe!
DORADO
Known as mahi-mahi, dorado are one of the most targeted species in the Cabo waters. Dorado are distinguished by their colorful appearance with blue-green dorsal, silvery gold on the lower flanks and yellow bellies.
Dorado reach a maximum length of 6 feet and weigh up to 85 lbs. Their extreme agility and strength makes them one of the more challenging fish to reel in on the Weekend Hooker.

TUNA
The Cabo waters are also home to several tuna species, including the most famous yellowfin. They are often dark blue on the top of their bodies and have silver bellies...with, ummm, yellowfins.
They are supreme swimmers and can reach over 7 ft. in length and weigh up to 400 lbs. Tuna are arguably the the most sought-after Cabo catch on the Weekend Hooker and usually taken directly to a local restaurant for a meal.
